A Which report out today has confirmed what we have been saying: most people are unaware of their right to claim flight delay compensation if their flight is delayed for 3 hours or more.

The report estimates that only 38% of people assert their right to claim the flight delay compensation of up to €600. Over 9,000 flights in the UK were affected last year with an average of 97 passengers on board. That's 900,000 people but over 500,000 of these never make a claim.

Passengers are missing out on millions of pounds each year and letting airlines get away with failing to comply with EU law.
