EasyJet flight has a sting in the tail | FairPlane UK / 05.09.2017
You’ve presumably heard of the movie ‘Snakes on a Plane’? Well, passengers on board EasyJet flight EZY6883 from Paris to Glasgow found themselves staring in the sequel ‘Scorpions on a Plane’ this week.
The flight was delayed overnight at Charles de Gaulle airport after a passenger spotted the creature that we presume had entered the plane without a boarding pass.
The aircraft was fumigated before passengers were able to continue their journey the following day.
A spokesman for EasyJet said: "The safety and comfort of our passengers and crew is always our highest priority so, as a precaution, the aircraft will be fumigated before its next flight”
Passengers were offered overnight accommodation in hotels, although we suspect that some of them at least might have had trouble sleeping!
