Majority of passengers affected by cancellations now processed
The Irish budget airline, who cancelled 2,100 of its 130,000 scheduled flights in September and October, claims to have already processed refunds and alternative flights for 97% of those passengers affected.
Despite emails being sent over a week ago to all 315,000 affected customers, 3% of those contacted are yet to reply.
Kenny Jacobs, the Chief marketing officer for Ryanair once again apologised for the disruption and urged the remaining 3% of customers who still need to either select an alternative flight or claim a refund to get in touch at the first opportunity.
Additional customer service staffs have been made available to process the 315,000 passengers affected by the cancellations resulting from changes to the way pilots holidays are organised and allocated.
